Total Eclipse in Molina de Aragón

Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience

On 12 August, the first total solar eclipse of this century will take place and will be visible from certain parts of the Iberian Peninsula.

Join Don Quixote Tours for a day trip to Molina de Aragón, one of the towns offering the best visibility of the eclipse in Castilla-La Mancha.

We will depart by coach from Alcázar de San Juan, with a scheduled stop along the way.

Upon arrival in Molina de Aragón, we will enjoy the local cuisine with the following restaurant menu:

Starters — choose one:
Homemade Russian salad with anchovy
Chicken fideuà

Main courses — choose one:
Barbecued ribs
Oven-baked sea bass

Desserts — choose one:
Chocolate tart
Lemon sorbet

Children’s menu — ages 3 to 12

Main course — choose one:
Chicken or beef burger with chips
Chicken fingers with chips
Lasagne

Dessert:
Ice cream

- Bread and a soft drink are included.

After lunch, we will discover the town on a guided tour led by an official tour guide.

Despite the summer heat, Molina de Aragón is considered one of the coldest towns in Spain, where maximum temperatures rarely reach 35°C.

After the guided tour, the coach will collect us from the town centre and take us to the location officially designated by the local authorities for the best possible viewing of this astronomical phenomenon.

Our official guide will also provide an explanation of the celestial objects visible at that time.

Certified eclipse-viewing glasses are included in this activity.
